Our Editorial Mission

suuperstitch exists to help people discover the best fashion from India's independent brands. Our editorial mission is to curate a collection that is worth your time, every brand vetted, every product considered.

Editorial Independence

Our editorial decisions are independent of commercial relationships. We do not accept payment, gifts, or incentives in exchange for featuring brands or products. A brand's presence on suuperstitch is determined solely by our editorial standards.

Specifically:

• Organic brand listings are based purely on our editorial standards
• Affiliate commissions do not influence our organic features
• While we are planning to introduce sponsored placements in the near future, they will be strictly separated from editorial content
• Any future advertising will be clearly marked, professionally presented, and designed to never disrupt your browsing experience

How We Select Brands

Our editorial team evaluates brands using the following criteria:

• Design quality: Is the design thoughtful, well-executed, and distinctive?
• Craftsmanship: Does the brand demonstrate attention to detail and quality construction?
• Aesthetics: Does the brand have a clear, consistent visual identity?
• Originality: Does the brand offer something unique or interesting?
• Reliability: Does the brand have a professional online presence and positive reputation?
• Value: Does the brand offer good value relative to its quality and positioning?

Not every brand that applies or is discovered will be listed. Our editorial team has the final say on inclusion, and their decisions are based on these standards, not on commercial considerations.

How We Select Products

Once a brand is approved, our team reviews their product catalogue and selects items that best represent the brand and align with our curation standards. We do not list every product from every brand, we curate a selection.

Products that do not meet our quality standards are filtered out.

Role of AI in Our Process

We use AI (currently Google Gemini) to assist with:

• Generating product metadata, tags, and structured attributes
• Improving search and categorisation
• Powering recommendations and similar product suggestions

AI does not make editorial decisions. It assists with data enrichment and discovery, but product selection, brand approval, collection curation, and rankings are driven by human editorial judgement.

Corrections and Updates

We strive for accuracy, but mistakes happen. When we identify an error in product information, editorial content, or metadata, we correct it as quickly as possible.

Sponsorships & Advertising

We are actively exploring brand partnerships and plan to introduce sponsored content and featured placements in the near future. If you are interested in partnering with us, please visit our Partner With Us page.

When we do roll out advertising and sponsored features, we commit to:

• Maintaining a premium, clean UI that respects the user experience
• Ensuring there are no intrusive pop-ups, annoying banners, or spam
• Clearly labelling all sponsored content or paid brand features
• Keeping our organic editorial curation completely independent from advertising
